It's always a great joy to get back to the places that have been such a big part of my life, to savour, enjoy and be inspired to paint them. I live in the hustle bustle of Manchester, but return regularly to North Wales where I grew up, to the Lakes, the Peaks, the Dales and beyond.

Artist Statement

An Impressionist Painter of Land, Sea and Coast, I explore the special connection we feel with these places we are so instinctively drawn to.

My paintings channel the power of nature through quiet, thoughtful contemplation. It’s important that I take you there with something real and show you something beautiful and poetic but then leave enough space for your own interpretations and slowly over time for you to make the painting your own.
