I believe it’s true that Artists create the world they like to live in.

In contrast to our modern lives that move with such rapid pace and uncertainty, my paintings offer a window for some reflection and respite, celebrating the grounding beauty of nature through the simple means of creativity and paint.

Although sometimes highly interpreted, the basis of my work is from real locations and experiences. It's always a great joy to get back to the places that have been such a big part of my life. I live in the hustle bustle of Manchester, but return regularly to North Wales where I grew up, to the Lakes, the Peaks, the Dales and beyond.
